Pre-Arsenal

The ZB forum was originally a StormBoard that was under a completely different name and was owned by different people. The forum wasn't Arsenal Boards, but a rather shitty sports forum that only had 20 users, 4 of which actually posted. The forum was owned by a total douchebag named Proock. Two days after the forum went online, Proock made his own forum, so the ZB site was dead and abandoned. KreatoR lied to Smoke (the host of the board at that time) and told him Proock and SleepleSS (The co-admin of that site at the time) couldn't log into their accounts but they wanted to make KreatoR an Admin. Smoke believed it and made KreatoR an admin. Immediately, KreatoR wiped out all the boards, users, etc. Then he changed the site name and URL to Arsenal, thus officially creating Arsenal Boards. Then he got Saber posting over there and eventually Evil_E and a few other users. Smoke found out about it, but said he didn't care, so KreatoR got to keep the site.

[V1] Arsenal ZB Edit
After Evil_E kept advertising the site, many users came to the forums and posted around. These users included Recluse, Tymonz, Ceph, Boss_Tycoon, Doomzmaster, Slayer_22, Dipstick, Naked_Clothes, MexicanJesus and a few others who didn't post as much. The place stayed pretty active with users from Midway and two or three coming from other sites. Things stayed active for a few months until KreatoR had to leave for two weeks due to a legal problem. After KreatoR left, everything died down and the board went from 200 posts a day to 10 posts a day. Then Smoke decided to exploit the inactivity by proposing for AB to merge with his shitty board full of crackheads and too-serious fat 47 year old men. The Arsenal community did not like the idea, and some even said it was "fucking gay", causing Smoke to get pissed off, and with the fact that he was a bitch who couldn't handle losing, he threatened to force it and if it didn't work then he would just delete Arsenal from ZB (including members of his forum). Anyway, with a deadline until the boards were deleted, as soon as KreatoR got back, he consulted the admin Andvari300 of Kool Zone Boards for a new forum under his domain. AV talked it through with MexicanJesus and the OK was given. The forum was set up and as soon as Smoke heard the news he was furious and he ended Arsenal ZB.

[V2] Arsenal KZ Edit
The place was much better than the ZB-hosted Arsenal in almost every way imaginable. Better layout, custom skins, more users came, more options, etc. Users who started their Arsenal stories from ABKZ were: Merc_77705, Feral Misanthropy, Cyber_Scorpion, Firegrip, ThunderGodRaiden, ParasiteDestroyer, Mxrrkk, Cage vs Cage, Robohobo93, High On Toast, etc. After a while the board got 10K posts and everything was pretty active until an issue between Evil_E and KreatoR broke out. E_E was constantly starting shit with KreatoR and eventually KreatoR had enough. He resigned from Admin status and said that he was done with Arsenal for the time being. Then MJ crashed the entire site by the next day, saying that there was a 'verbal contract' between KreatoR and him stating that E_E was not allowed to have the site.

NSAB Edit
Soon after ParasiteDestroyer joined, there was a point where all users who weren't deemed good enough for Arsenal were either banned, deleted, or forced into The Outside. All Outsiders were only allowed to see The Outside, and could not see everything going on in the boards. At that time a lot of anti-religious blasphemy, stereotyping, racism and other "inappropriate" activities. This era of Arsenal was known as "The Great Purge".
[V2.5] Arsenal FF Edit
Firegrip didn't want to see Arsenal die, so he made another board from a rapidhoster site called FreeForums. The place actually got a lot of attention, but the options and control of the forum was awful. Users who joined were TheKrow, Freya, and a few others. After KreatoR came back, he made a new forum that was better, and the he owned, so there was no host to fuck him over.
[V3] Arsenal CBB Edit
This is the final and permanent version of Arsenal. Owned by KreatoR and operated/coded by him as well, there is no shitty host to bring the hammer down on him. This version of Arsenal has acquired the most posts of any Arsenal ever has, with over 50,000 posts by September of 2010. Users who joined this Arsenal are: Agent47, MK_FTW, and a few others who weren't as active. Near the end of 2009, Evil_E became extremely self-centered and continuously started shit, eventually making the entire site lose any of the fun it had. After countless problems and short-term bans, E_E was finally banned in December. He said he had "changed" in 2010, and was allowed one final chance in August. When he got there he confessed to a shitload of lies and then, after seeing that nobody missed him or even liked him, he left the boards with a topic asking for him to be banned. Saber asked him why he left, and E_E replied with "It's just not the same anymore". By the time E_E was banned, Recluse was made coadmin, and TGR was made mod. Not much else has happened so far.
